What’s its role now and in the future?
Idaho Power has a 20-year Energy Plan for the Future that includes a diverse mix of energy sources. Working with a public advisory group, Idaho Power updates the plan every two years. This process weighs all options with balanced consideration of environmental concerns, service reliability and responsible economics. The goal is a plan that provides for today's – and tomorrow's – energy needs.
The issues are wide ranging, and we don't cover everything here. But, we have information to help you learn more about how our decisions shape our energy future.
